PODs
People often ask what the word POD (Professional Organization for Development) represents in relation to our chapter. A few years ago when the chapter
was smaller, the board at the time decided to expand the chapter across Iowa and
into Nebraska to grow the membership. The effort
was successful, the chapter grew and we have maintained the PODs ever since. It not only
helps the chapter grow but solves our geographically challenged problem of living so
far apart and having to travel monthly.
When does the Heartland Chapter meet?
Chapter Meetings - February, August, and December. These meetings bring the group together in one location and rotate between Iowa and Nebraska throughout the year.
